Automex Penang 2025 Boosts HCUC Students’ Learning in Logistics and Automation

PENANG: Students from the Next Gen Logistics and Supply Chain Society at Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) recently visited the Automex Penang 2025 exhibition to explore the latest innovations in automation and industrial technology.

The exhibition, held at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre, featured cutting-edge robotics, smart logistics systems, and emerging technologies shaping the future of supply chain management.

A society member Lau Yi Chen said the visit broadened their understanding of how automation is transforming logistics operations. 

“Seeing real-world applications of robotics and AI gave us new ideas about how technology can improve efficiency in the supply chain,” she said, describing the experience as both inspiring and educational.

Meanwhile, the society advisor Lim Wooi Chin said that the visit bridged classroom learning with industry exposure. 

“Engaging with professionals and seeing emerging technologies helps students gain practical insights and prepares them for a rapidly evolving logistics sector,” he said.

The exhibition offered students valuable firsthand exposure to automation solutions and modern supply chain practices, leaving them inspired and more motivated to contribute to the industry’s advancement.
