Han Chiang Alumnus donate broadcasting equipment to HCUC

Han Chiang’s alumnus David Lim donated broadcasting equipment to Han Chiang University College of Communication (HCUC) on February 5 to give the facilities a boost. These equipment included two drones and a Macbook Pro-Space Gray. The total value is RM43, 568. 

Honorary Secretary of the Board of Directors Datuk Tan Hiang Joo thanked David Lim for the donation. He said David Lim is still willing to help Han Chiang although he has been working in the United Stated for many years. He also thanked David Lim for help us to shoot footage for Han Chiang’s Centennial Celebrations last year.

David Lim said although he was an alumni of Han Chiang High School, he will give donations according to the students’ need. He hoped these equipment can fulfill the needs of the HCUC students and increase their chances of learning.

HCUC Vice Chancellor Dr. Beh Kok Hooi said he was very grateful for David Lim’s generosity as it provided a great opportunity for the students to learn the skills of video shooting.

HCUC Head of Broadcast Mr Lee Kean Wei said  these equipment can provide a better learning platform for the students. He said with these equipment the students would be able to produce better videos in the future.

Also present in the ceremony including Penang Han Chiang Associated Chinese Schools Association Chairman Dato’ Seri Ooi Soo Hing, Supervisor Mr Khoo Chun Aun, HCUC Vice Chancellor Dr Beh Kok Hooi and Deputy Vice Chancellor Ms Jenny Khoo Gim Hoon.
